Boom

I was beginning to wonder when inspiration would strike again. Little did I know it would come when I least expected it. That’s usually how it goes though, right? You can be doing the most random thing…then suddenly get smacked in the face with a spark of inspiring bliss. There will be a lot of story writing this year, I can already tell. And why not? Storytelling in my life has been lacking. It needs to be heard. I could care less if no one ended up reading it all, although having readers does make it less lonely and more appreciated.

But I can’t let doubt and fear stand in the way of what I really want. I know that I have to change my way of thinking if I want to get to where I want to be. Sometimes it’s necessary. You have to step out of your comfort zone and your comfortable thought patterns and into something new and extraordinary.

But why stop there? We’re always learning and that never stops. So we might as well continue forward with what we have. I know I want to. There’s no doubt about it. The saying “there’s no limit to what you can do” really resonates with me right now, and with good reason.

Sometimes I look down at the keyboard and think….what the hell am I doing? Will any of this matter to anyone? Then I remember…it will and it does. Anything you do matters to someone…even if that someone is yourself. You can do meaningful things just by being yourself and following your goals, dreams, passions, or whatever fuels you. We all have a part to play in this world. A purpose from birth that resonates with who we are. Whether you’re helping people or doing something that furthers who you are, you’re getting somewhere.

Most importantly, have fun and don’t let grogginess and laziness get in the way of what you want to become. It’s hard for sure…but worth it once you finally reach what you’ve been looking for. Purpose.

Blessed Be.
