It’s not every day that we come across unique individuals who spark creativity in our hearts. They come into our lives and we look at them while our thoughts spiral. We think Wow! I’ve never met someone like this. Never in a million years did I think someone like this would show up in my life. It’s hard to imagine anyone like that stabbing you in the back or betraying you, but it happens. And when it does, it hurts like a bitch. I’ve had it happen and luckily, I’m stronger because of it. Unfortunately, it left a type of caution in my heart. One that prevents me from getting close to others sometimes. It’s not something I’m fond of, but it’s a part of who I am, and I improve every day.
At least we feel things. There are people out there who are incapable of feeling certain emotions. I can’t even imagine what that’s like. Then again, it must be nice not to hurt. At the end of the day though, it’s better to realize that emotion is a good thing. It helps to improve us as we become better people. Even the terrible parts help us. While it may seem horrid in the storm, once you come out on the other side, you realize it was all for growth and something better. You realize the fight was worth it.
