Life is full of ups and downs. You have the terrible days where you just can’t seem to get it right. Then there’s the empty days. The ones you just can’t seem to work through because your mind is bogged down with the craziest shit. It doesn’t matter what it is. It can be anything. Whatever you may be going through. It’s insane. It’s horrible. It’s awful. It works its way out of your brain and into your life. If you don’t take a minute to just step back and realize that there’s more to the picture than meets the eye, then you’ll lose yourself. That’s not something you want to do.
We press on and keep pushing until finally something breaks. That’s why it’s important to remember the concept of self-care. We can’t forget that sometimes we all must take a step back and look at ourselves as a whole. What are we really focused on? Is it that paper you need to write, or your health? You can’t do much if you’re dead, and that’s the truth. So, why do we kill ourselves to get shit done? We want to be the best at what we do. We don’t want to fail. I just want to throw this out there…
No one is perfect. In fact, it’s literally impossible to be perfect. We live in an imperfect world full of flaws and mistakes that help us learn and grow. Embrace that. Remember that. All the good and the bad pieces are mixed in with everything else to create what we experience. It’s okay if you’re failing all the time. No one ever exceeds ALL the time. We must have our failures and mistakes to show us that the real purpose of it all is to grow and improve. We will NEVER be perfect, so that means just do the best you can. There’s nothing wrong with it and if someone has something to say about it, just remember that you’re on your own path, just like they are. We all have our own clocks and things happen according to that. Don’t worry about where you’re at right now. You’re meant to be here. It’s the right time. Take a breath…and just relax. You’re doing just fine. I believe in you.
Blessed Be
