Pushing Past Fear

Fear seems to really cripple us when we’re at our worst. Not only does it tear us down, it likes to break our hopes and dreams and take away the parts we love most. When it comes to doing something, whatever it may be, you have to choose between running away and standing up. Especially when fear has a part to play. There’s no reason you shouldn’t be ready, right? I don’t completely agree with that. Everyday we run into problems and it all depends on how willing we are to face them. Sometimes fear will bring out the worst in us. Sometimes it fuels the fire. It just depends on how we work with it, or should I say, work through it.

It was once said that we have nothing to fear but fear itself and in many ways this is very true. Fear plays a part in many aspects of our lives. But we have the courage to push through it. I know that’s ALWAYS easier said than done, but it’s true. The courage is there. Sometimes it’s right at the top, just within reach. Other times it’s buried deep within the crevices of our hearts, just waiting to be plucked from within. That’s okay though, because not only does this help us learn new things, it allows us to break free from the norm and look at the world in a different light. All be it a dark one, but that’s okay. Because sometimes you have to see things in the dark in order to understand them.

I know it doesn’t always make sense, but look deep inside yourself when you really need the courage. You will find it there. Remind yourself that you have the power to overcome whatever you believe in and do it. Like I said, that’s way easier said than done, but you will find your way with time. Never give up and always remember that there’s more to life than meets the eye. And that’s a very beautiful thing. Keep your head up, and as I always say, keep moving forward. Because that’s where you’ll find your answers. Don’t ever cut it short. You are beautiful and you are worth it. 🙂

Blessed Be.
