An older game has really made me think about what gives us the drive and determination to push through so many obstacles in life. You’ve probably heard of it. It’s called Tomb Raider. It’s a gaming series that’s been in the works for quite awhile, and I love it. Mainly because it inspires great qualities that many people need to learn. I struggle with determination a lot. Even though I may do something, it’s hard to push through sometimes. A lot of that is due to the set backs brought on by depression and anxiety but still. We all have our crosses to bear. I keep going. I always try to look ahead, even when I think I’ve had enough. What really pushes us? Obviously we have the drive, but backing that is something that comes from within. It’s a part of you, a part of your soul that reminds you to keep going. As long as you listen to it, you don’t have to worry about what comes later. You may fall down again, but you will get back up. You must.

You always know where it comes from, but you can’t really put a name on it. Most people have called it determination and it can be as solid as a rock. I’m driven by my passions and what I like to do in life. I’m driven by the want to have fun and enjoy life. I’m pushed by the feeling that I absolutely must live life to the fullest in anyway possible, but we don’t always do that. I have my off days just like everyone else. For years I looked at it a certain way and now here I am, writing about feelings and thoughts. I can’t say it’s been a “daring” road, although there have been moments. I think it’s important to remember your drive. That’s really all I wanted to say today. Remember that you have something within you that pushes you farther than you can imagine. You’ve got this. And it doesn’t matter what anyone else has to say about it. You can do this because YOU believe you can. You are unique and wonderful. You are human.
