Do you really love yourself? <<< That’s a question that’s hard to answer for anyone struggling with self love. But, do we really love ourselves? People think it’s selfish to do so. You’ve probably been told if you begin to love yourself for even a second, it means you’re conceded or too caught up in yourself. That’s simply not what real self love is.

Emotional state: not that great

Mental state: anxiety zone

Real self love is loving yourself, flaws and all. It’s putting yourself together in a way you like, but remembering that you only have this one life and body, so you should love it. Sure, we get reincarnated, but you get the picture. Your soul didn’t choose wrong when it chose your body…your life. Deep down it’s there; that wonderful self love we all crave is deep within ourselves just waiting to be unleashed.

It’s a powerful thing to say that you love your life and the body you have. Believe it or not, it’s hard to get to that point. It’s work, and the thought of working towards a goal like self love is probably sickening, but dammit, it’s worth it.

By loving yourself, you open a door to a new world. However, if we don’t open our hearts to that love, we will never know the joy that comes along with living life and doing what we want to do.

Fear is something that will hold you back from loving yourself a great deal and it’s that same fear that will keep you from growing like you need to.

If you want to learn how to love yourself, start small. Try saying a simple daily mantra every day when you wake up. Tell yourself, “It’s okay to be who I am. I love myself.” Or pick a mantra that better suites the way you feel.

Now onto the other things…

There will be ghost stories, videos and experiences coming soon! I can’t wait to share them with everyone! I know it’s been awhile since the last ghostly update, but don’t worry. There will plenty to read and watch in the near future.
