TODAY I LEARNED: Dolphins have names for each other and can call out for each other specifically.

Have you ever had one of those days where you’re barely making it? You’re running on three hours of sleep or less, (you’re not really sure because time is a blur), and you’re just trying to make it through the day without falling asleep while standing up. I’ve had PLENTY of those days. It seems like life really has a knack for tearing us down when we’re at our lowest…or is it just how we perceive it all?

I feel like we blame the world for a lot of our own problems. It’s easier to place blame than it is to accept the truth. Sometimes we don’t even realize we’re doing it because we have done it for so long. But when you’re tired, groggy, and just want the sweet embrace of your bed, things become a bit distorted.

So, what do you do when you’re at your lowest and life and it “seems” to be throwing all the punches at you? You survive. You give your best (whatever your best is at that moment in time) and hope that the day gets better. There’s really nothing else to do. The point is to keep moving forward. If you can make it to the next day, you will have made it. That’s another day you were alive and another day you tried your hardest and won, despite what anyone else has to say about it. Your victories are your own and no one else needs to understand them.

Just remember that the world isn’t out to get us. If anything, the universe wants to help us. We just need to open our eyes to see that.
