Stab You In The Back

Emotional level: 6

Mental level: 6

TODAY I LEARNED: A lion’s roar can be heard from 5 miles away!

Every day we make the choices we feel are the right ones, even if some of those choices aren’t the least bit right. When your friend or family member stabs you in the back, do you think they felt they were making the right decision?

We live in concerning times. The people you thought you knew tend to show you a side of them you’ve never seen. Some say you won’t see the snake hiding in the brush until it’s too late…and they’re right. You never truly know who is talking behind your back until the last second.

The point? People will stab you in the back. It’s as simple as that.

We all have two forces that we push and pull with every single day. It’s a constant decision between good and evil, right and wrong; a duality of the universe.

Depending on which one you choose, your life will be forever changed one way or another. It’s these choices that make us wonder how someone could stab another in the back.

But people are full of hateful and vicious energies. They will come at you with the most horrible words and actions.

All of it can make you feel as though you’re done with it all. You don’t want to bother with people anymore, much less make friends. This is completely understandable considering the circumstances.

However, we can’t let one person or even a group of terrible people stop us from finding the good ones. Believe it or not, there are genuinely great people who exist. They seem few and far between, but they’re here, just waiting for another like-minded person to come along.

Sometimes you simply have to push through a tough few to get to the good ones and it’s well worth the fight.

In the end, you will be so glad you did, I promise. There’s not a doubt in my mind that as long as we keep pushing forward, good things will happen. Because that’s all we can do is keep going. We look forward and hope for the best.

I know it’s hard to do this after you’ve been let down or betrayed…but just trying is all that matters. Trying our best and always trying just one more time to give out kindness and hope.

Blessed Be )O(
